Dreams Come True

The month before Kaden was born, some wonderful friends threw me a baby shower. At the shower, my friend Sherry gave me my very favorite baby card – It had a sketch of a little boy in pajamas, carrying a teddy bear. Landon & I loved it so much that we got a baby-boy-blue frame for it (at Marshalls, on clearance for $3 – I love deals) & it’s been on Kaden’s shelf above his changing table since before he was born.
Last week it just kind of dawned on me that Kaden is that little boy now. Today, at this stage he’s in, with his sweet curls in the back of his hair wearing his striped footie pajamas, holding his baby Winnie the Pooh (or “Bear” as he says.) And it was a sweet realization :)
