This has been an exciting week! We found a new condo that we’re moving to in 7 weeks, which will be 2 weeks before my due date. A little nervous about moving so close to baby coming, but mostly we are just really excited about our new place – it’s a bit bigger, and has a lot more closets & storage than our current home, which is what I’m probably most looking forward to :) I’m hoping baby waits long enough for us to get everything unpacked & organized before she’s arrives, but we’ll see…

We’ve gotten a little crazy getting things we don’t need for the next few months packed up as we get our current home ready to show. It’s a lot of work, but the anticipation of moving makes it a little fun too.

Baby is doing well, still very active. My belly is starting to feel really big when I get up & move around. When we ask Kaden where baby sister is he says “in tummy”, & when we ask what he’s going to tell her when she’s born he says “gDiapers”. Not sure why, but he loves to play with all her gDiapers, & thinks he should tell her about them first thing :)

We’ve still been enjoying getting things ready for her here & there. I’ve started having a little scavenger hunt on the clearance rack at Target when we go, to find cute little things for her (and don’t you just love a great deal?) Still on the look out for a perfect first outfit for her. Have some ideas but haven’t found quite what I’m looking for yet.

Kaden tested out her Baby K’tan carrier the other week while I was trying it on, he thought that was very funny.

Besides packing & working on the house, we’ve been enjoying spending time at the pool a couple mornings a week. It’s a good way to make the most of the summer sun & heat:)
